I just watched this, and I was blown away. This is how a western should be done. The best western I've ever seen (even better than The Good, The Bad and The Ugly) and one of the most remarkable cinematic achievments of all time.

I'd like to see this, although I heard it drags a bit. Check out The Wild Bunch.

The Wild Bunch wasn't bad, bloody as hell. I thought it was a little too chaotic, though.

As for OUATITW dragging, well, it is VERY slow paced, but that's what I love about it. It's the perfect example of a director understanding things are better if they aren't rushed, which is the very reason I love it. It's amazing.

If you like TG,TBATU, I'm almost positive you'd like this.

I started watching this one night on television and loved the opening scene with the guys waiting for the train. The buildup was awesome. Knowing I was going to have to leave and couldn't finish it, I put at the top of my rent list, but none of the stupid video stores in this lame town have it in stock.

Yep, that's what I got. Leone mastered the western genre with this one.

It's an awesome movie, but I think The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is better.

Sergio Leone rules.
Ennio Morricone rules.
