I watched it last week and thought it was good. I like Dax Shepherd in this show. I used to think he was a bit of a douche. Erika Christensen is good also. I am looking forward in seeing this show grow.

I watched it again and it's a bit predictable but it's produced by Opie.

First of all, "opie" produced the most well written comedy of all time.

And i like this Parenthood show a lot. A little corny at times, but it actually makes me wish i had a family i liked. Of all the shows i watch right now, this one is actually the one i get a little excited when i know i have a new one on the dvr.

I've been subjected to Gilmore Girls too many times in my life to sit through any TV show with this chick again. I don't care if she's hot or that Bad Santa was hilarious. I just can't do it.

My fiance loves this show, and I must say it is much better than I anticipated. I think the acting is very good.

Yea damn, what the hell happened to that chick? Seemed like she was ready to explode after "Traffic", then she more or less dropped off the map.

But hey this has got Anne Viel in it, so it can't be all that bad

She and Dax Shepard got me in to this show. It really is a good show and I dont usually go for this type of stuff. I have no kids so this show makes me think of what it's like.

What show is that? I am a diehard Andy Griffith Show fan. I have been to Andy Griffith's high school and my dad and I took a vacation to Mayberry, NC. No disrespect to Ron Howard. I also think "A Beautiful Mind" is a 4 star movie.

Hang on, you seemingly understood my Anne Viel reference, but are asking him what show he's talking about? It's the same in both cases -- Arrested Development.

I've got every episode on my DVR right now, but haven't watched any yet. I was slightly worried it would suck, but now I'm thinking it might be worth a shot...

haha.. Lauren Graham is pretty much the main motivating factor in my mom watching this, she was a HUGE Gilmore Girls fan. :haha:

oh and @The Fresh Prince -- sorry I just realized from rereading the relevant posts, the "she" to whom you were probably referring was still Graham, not the Anne Veal character that I think brought up next, that's why I got confused by what you said, since Veal was the character Mae Whitman played on Arrested Development.

I am sorry, but I have never watched Arrested Development. :( Maybe I need to catch up with Opie a bit.

The new season has started and I watched a bit of it tonight. Pretty much the same old stuff yet I still want to watch.

I really enjoy it still. Outside of Boardwalk Empire and Dexter, probably the show I look forward to watching the Tivo of the most.
