If you are a Republican, don't vote for George Bush. I just have a bad feeling about him. If I promise to be all with you and vote Republican in 2008, will you promise me not to vote for this man? Why am I against him? I just have my feelings of whats right and what's wrong., and it's Not Bush,.. not now. John Kerry will make a fine or ok president. Maybe McCain will run in 2008 and regain his sense about his reasons for supporting Bush... I'm sorry, but I don't care how conservative you are, Bush is an idiot. Republicans could've, should've done better. He is a puppet, but maybe you don't mind that since he's anti-abortion, exc... :?

Are you asking gut feelings on who you think will win?

LOL, if things go good as I hope they will, Kerry will win, and the Republicans will give us a better option in 2008, not this town idiot.

Politically on issues, I am stuck dead in the center of things, but I can't comprehend (other than selfish reasons) why anyone would want to vote for Bush. It scares me how many people support him. It it his looks? his appeal? I don't get it. He is an idiot. I voted for him in 2000, but learned my lesson. It's good to have change anyways. Vote for Kerry this time around and I'll take serious consideration into the 2008 Republican contendor.

Well, honestly my gut is confused. I think Bush has the edge, but I also think Kerry is starting to seal the deal with undecideds and could pull ahead at the end.

I'll let you know in a week from now how I think things will shape up.

As far as my political preference goes, I'm way to the left. I don't know if I'm far-left, but I'm probably more liberal than most.

Kerry will win... or my view of the people around me in this great nation will diminish. Wake up people!!! There are views on issues and then there are more important things. The village idiot is not an option. The rich boy of a previous president should not be running things. Governor of Texas?, LOL!. President of my country?, NO!!!

Things are not looking good for Kerry. Of course, it's close enough for him to pull it out ... but Bush seems to be pulling ahead.

In an average of seven recent polls, Bush's job approval rating was a like 50.8 percent, over the magic number for an incumbent. That's an average. Some polls had it higher. None had it lower than 49.

So ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

If Bush is an idiot, and he beats John Kerry ... what does that make Kerry?

On another note, I recently came across an article from some college prof somewhere -- who is an independent, and who seems fairly critical of the Bush admin -- who predicts Bush's IQ is likely higher than Kerry's.

He takes a look at SAT scores, and test scores for military service, and deduces Bush probably has a higher IQ.

No, I don't believe it, either. But I think it's a mistake to dismiss Bush as an idiot. He doesn't speak well, sure ... but I'm not voting for the president of the speech and debate club.

If you really are in the middle on politics, and your choices are the most liberal man in America and a guy you don't like because he don't speak too good ... ah whatever.

It's just amazing that people will still vote for a man that has done some much wrong to this country, just astonishing....

Proof that the polls don't mean jack shit:

Tracking poll: Bush holds on to advantage

October 27, 2000

By CNN Polling Director Keating Holland

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Today's CNN/USA Today/Gallup tracking poll continues to give George W. Bush an advantage over Vice President Al Gore.

[img]http://edition.cnn.com/2000/ALLPOLITICS/stories/10/27/tracking.poll/poll.gif[img]

While not a prediction of the voters' choice in November, Friday's results show Bush garnering 52 percent of the vote and Gore drawing 39 percent. The survey of 851 likely voters was conducted October 24-26 and has a 3.5 percentage point margin of error.

A CNN/Time poll also released today gives Bush a 49 percent to 43 percent edge over Gore, which is statistically in agreement with today's CNN/USA Today/Gallup tracking poll, given the polls' margin of sampling error.

ABC News and The Washington Post both have daily tracking polls today putting the race at 48 percent for Bush and 45 percent for Gore. The latest Reuters/MSNBC/Zogby tracking poll has the contest at 45 percent for Gore and 43 percent for Bush.

CNN will be releasing the results of its tracking polls every day until the November 7 elections. The polls monitor public opinion of the presidential race over intervals of two to three days.

CNN/USA TODAY/GALLUP POLL
October 24-26

Likely Voters' Choice for President

Bush 52%

Gore 39

Nader 4

Buchanan 1

Sampling error: +/-3.5% pts

Your 26 years old and your reducing presidential figuires to an abortion debate? Most conservatives do not like Bush, but Kerry is the very opposite of everything that they stand for. So really, the fact that Bush sucks, isn't going to sway many people. We are all looking forward to four years from now The death of the neo cons, and the return of the conservatives. There are three or four republicans I can think of right now that would make great presidents. A couple of liberals that wouldn't completly suck, but they chose Kerry. It will work out either way, Bush won't destory the country, and Kerry won't be able to pass a single bill. So I'm not to worried about it all. I have McCain, or Mr. New York to look forward to, hell even Mr Universe may be in the running. The liberals have Hillary Clinton, or 4 more years of Kerry. I'll take 4 years of stagnation over a liberal agenda any day, shit it may be better then four more years of Bush. Bring Kerry on.

"The most liberal man in America"
Jesus, SOJeff, you picked right up on the newest line of offense the Bush campaign has switched over to. (seeing as how we all know what a bad word 'liberal' is) Good job!
And it's already been discussed in this forum and countless other places what a non-factor IQ is in deeming actual intelligence. Not to mention the fact that intelligence is too subjective to rate acurately anywhere. In anyone.
And I'm pretty sure Kerry at least knew the different between a "tear" falling from his eye, and a "lacerate" falling from his eye by the age of 15. Bush, sadly, did not, but hell, what's intelligence anyway?

come up with a better freaking argument.

"Don't speak too good..." Wow.

And yes, he's obviously the most liberal man in America. Not a single American is more liberal. Seriously, you're just embarrassing yourself the more you post. At least try for a more balanced perspective before you begin spouting your rhetoric. All the "information" you post is consistently wrong, it's just becoming really sad now.

Come on Stone, I don't think he meant it that literally. When I say kerry is a douche bag, I would hope that people don't think I mean that in the literal sense. Kerry, as far as the democratic party is concerned, is about as liberal as you can get. I think that was Jeffs point. We all know that there are more liberal people somewhere on this earth. Shit there are at least a couple of dozen on this board who could give him a run. Look at the substance of someones post and try not to take obvious and intentional exagerations to far.
