The only two films I've seen by Jeunet were Amélie and Delicatessen, both pretty ehhh. I think I grew to hate Amélie after my little sister's incessant quoting of it on her FB page. That said, this looks pretty good.

Yeah, that's his best by far. One of my favorite movies.

Hey just pointing this out. I don't care one way or the other if you want to call a director's film his best when the same director called the film something he 'was not proud of'. (No link for this, it was in the print edition of EMPIRE magazine last December or January)
