Awesome awesome concert tonight! The band was on fire and looked like they were having a lot of fun. It helps when you are close (about 5 rows away from stage, off on Mike's side, my closest so far), you can really see their facial expressions and exactly know what's going on onstage. Plus this was the first time I tried earplugs, and that made a big difference too.
The guy that had his shirt off and needed right guard or febreze was two rows above me. He was talking before the show about how these were his best seats as well, so it's good he got some spotlight.
At the end with Eddie throwing tambourines, he through one to a few kids on our side, and one kid was two rows in front of me. Great to see that.
If Mike flinged his picks about 5 ft further, I might have had one
Great great show! I wish I would have bought one of those posters though

That is another great looking set list. I like when they throw Why Go out early on. That always gets the crowd going. I also would like to have seen the Jeremy>Got Some>RVM. That must have felt like the train was about to run off the tracks.

Any info on the merch prices and what looked good?
Some shirts looked cool. I think there was some sticker set but I didn't catch most of the merchandise...I can't afford any of it. The St. Louis poster was 30 bucks, which seems kinda high. But looked nice.

The posters sold out around 7:15 for both shows. If you get to the venue early I would suggest going to the Merch booth furthest away from the main entrance.

It was a good show. I had some nosebleed seats off to the side of the stage, and the crowd around me was pretty lame, but the sound was great and the band was having a good night. This was my first show off the Backspacer tour, so it was nice hearing some new songs. Also my first time catching Sometimes and Garden live, so that was a bonus.
I know there was talk about the crowd being small in KC, and it was a definitely thin in the upper tier last night. But, this was my first show in the Scott Trade building, so I don't know how the crowd compares to other acts (or past PJ shows).
