It was a good show. I had some nosebleed seats off to the side of the stage, and the crowd around me was pretty lame, but the sound was great and the band was having a good night. This was my first show off the Backspacer tour, so it was nice hearing some new songs. Also my first time catching Sometimes and Garden live, so that was a bonus.
I know there was talk about the crowd being small in KC, and it was a definitely thin in the upper tier last night. But, this was my first show in the Scott Trade building, so I don't know how the crowd compares to other acts (or past PJ shows).
It was more full than the Van Halen concert in April of 2008. And if I remember correctly, seemed to be about the same size as PJ's Scottrade Center show in 2003.

so if these posters are limit TWO per person, is it safe to say they now are making a shitload for each show? how fast were the KC and STL posters selling, anyone know?
The posters sold out around 7:15 for both shows. If you get to the venue early I would suggest going to the Merch booth furthest away from the main entrance.
What time did doors open for each venue? Please say they had wristbands again.

No wristbands at these shows, but they did have poster tubes for $2. They worked really well.

Last nights show was kind of underwhelming imo. I don't understand why they didn't play at the Fox Theater like they did back in 04. The Savvis Center sound is terrible and in turn makes for a not so enjoyable experience.

6th row dead center. One of the best 10club fan shows ive been at. This show blew away most of the east coast shows ive seent he past few years and I BELIEVE its due to the fact that the midwest doesnt get pearl jam as often. band was in a great mood, vedder was 1/2 itno a bottle at the start of a show. Just breathe...believe it or not was a bit epic! Its such a quiet song you can hear the entire arena singing along. pretty cool. DTE was smoking, Baba o Riley was intense, Garden was cool cause ed was really into it and controlling the crowd. Unthought Known is a great song live...pretty anthemic...
love me Sometimes as an opener
Corduroy is always awesome
Jeremy is also huge
Got Some is a monster.
Inside job still sucks.
Ament is cool as shit.
Pilate was tight and solid and still has the best bridges ever written in their repetoire. In Hiding was excellent.
End of ledbetter mccready sat on top of the stacks at the front of the stage and played the outtro...was pretty laidback outro...vedder sitting on top of his monitor smoking a cig and having a Corono as he sang the song out. I feel this is what it wouldbe like to sit around the campfire with them.
All in all, epic show for me. Out did one of the MSG shows last yea (night 2?), All 06 shows except for Boston and rivaled anything in 05 and the best of 03 for me. So...top tier shows. Great time. I heart midwest shows.

Also, Why Go Fucking rules and i didnt think i would be able to keep up the energy the way they came out. Glad i was exhausted. Good rock show.
Also, also. Woman next to me...i dont care that youve seen pearlj am 98 times, i dont care that you are creepily obsessed with mccready and i think you waste your shows taking too many photos of the guy that you probably arent actually enjoying any of it. i dont care that you are about to hit your 100th show. Shut up and go check out some other bands live (other than pj related bands please, thanks)

I think I know who that woman might be. Not personally, but someone online.
Yeah, this show kicked all kinds of ass. And when you are really close and can see what they are doing, it makes it even better.

I thought it was a great show... better than KC. The crowd was decent until Jeremy...then the place exploded. Got to hear several I've never heard live. Sometimes, Glorified G, Garden. So much better than the 03 show in the same venue. Like someone else said...wish they would've played at the Fox theater. Much better atmosphere and sound. Best show, for me, since the gorge 06.
