I thought bumping old threads around tour time was frowned upon?
I did not know this when I posted on it earlier. I just remembered PD writing this thing for some reason today and thought I'd check to see if he got any kind of response.

I won't do it again.

There's a difference btw bumping a single thread and spamming Pearl Jam Chat with banality. Besides, Weave chose well. I actually wanted to hear what PD had to say about this old letter.

Maybe, but I'm not going to read and assess 15 bumps to weed out the 2 good ones. If you're gonna spam, you might lose a couple decent posts.

I haven't bumped 15 threads at once in a long time. A week ago when you got a little pissy over it I had only bumped about 5 threads, which really didn't clutter up much at all, and would have been buried by the end of the day. Also, locking my thread today was bushleague. 3 people were having fun and you couldn't just let it go for a little bit?

And weren't you just modded so you could update the newsfeed on the main site?
Modding this forum was an unfortunate side effect.

In all seriousness, there's no training course for mod'dom, but I was always of the understanding that the Pearl Jam forum was sacred and that I should be a Nazi when moderating.

the best part about convincing B of that is that now I don't have to do any of the locking myself.
But I also tend to delete threads, which makes it harder for people to bitch about em. Out of sight and all that.

I like to mix it up.

I was just having fun thinking of Pearl Jam songs in which Eddie looks like a cat, that's all.
I kept that thread. I'll put it in GD if you want. I hate to see a grown man cry.
