full story here

since his bizarre appearence on letterman, i think it is safe to say either he has completely had a mental breakdown (probabably in some shape or form related to his famous brothers death) so the logical thing to do is allow and to have your brother-in-law (casey affleck) document your perilous journey.

some of the films finer points

phoenix abusing his personal staff
having oral sex with a assistant
lots of drug use
calling prostitutes

and the winner

someone who hates him actually shits on him

Okay. Basically, we're filming thodoks. Can you handle the soundtrack? Some scenes I had in mind are eerily similar to what peeps posted, but we can tweak them a little bit to keep them fresh. any thoughts?

i can't view the scenes peeps posted, but i think i can handle it

i think it's very important to feature a scene in which thodoks snorts cocaine from the an*s of an Auburn coed while his fiance is out looking for reputable daycares for their newly adopted 3 year old son

I meant the descriptions of scenes that peeps posted. I really like your idea. We'll have to include that.

What do you think about filming a scene where thodoks gets cut off while driving, and instead of a normal, angry reaction, he gets very quiet and pulls over on the shoulder, rolls down the window, then just stares at his glove compartment?

that sounds great...i'd like to see him unbutton the top button of his shirt immediately before rolling down the window

wes anderson may need to consult us on that scene

Let's revisit your fiance-searches-for-daycares-as-thodoks-snorts-cocaine-from-a-HPOAA scene..

Would you add music to that and use a split-screen technique, go to live cuts from each scene, or what? I think that has some potential to be really powerful if done well.

i'm going to have to think about that one...my gut is telling me live cuts for the first few minutes...and then maybe a split screen with musical accompaniment as the scene concludes with ms. thodoks' arduous search ending in futility, and mr. thodoks falling backward against the wall and sliding to the floor after his last snort

i do need to think more about that one though

You should really be directing this. You have some great ideas here.

I wonder if this track could somehow work in that scene? It might underscore the complexity of the situation?

So I guess the existence of this film is officially confirming what was long speculated anyway, that this was all an elaborate put on by Phoenix.
