notes: Unusual fast version of ‘Wash.’ A short clip of ‘Sonic Reducer’ was broadcast on CBS’s New Year’s Eve broadcast. (One of the cameramen almost does an unintentional stagedive, camera and all.) Ed thanks Keith Richards, saying, “If it weren’t for Keith, Mike McCready wouldn’t even be here.” The rare ‘Dirty Frank’ had not been played previously live in its entirety. ‘Stranglehold’ is a Ted Nugent song. Mike remarks after this jam, “They forced me to play it. I think Ted Nugent is a stupid idiot.” Somewhat reluctantly, Ed and Mike join Keith for his encore song, ‘Goin’ Down.’

2) The song is from one of those shows they did with Keith back in 1993

3) Rod Argent is a couple hundred years old and NEVER EVER auditioned to be in Stone and Jeff's band. However...he wrote a song called "Hold Your Head Up" which was a song that was frequently covered by Mother Love Bone in concert.

Oddly enough…Rod Argent did audition once to become THE WHO’s 2nd guitar player around the time of Quadrophenia. Although he never became a member of the band…He eventually ended up engineering and doing some studio work on “WHO ARE YOU”
