Reading Pearl Jam and Clipping 101, some people didn't know what the problem with clipping was.

Hopefully you all know the problem with clapping:

Why can't people clap in time?

Does this have something to do with Soon Forget?

People always have a tendency to clap way too damn fast.

My first show the Wembley crowd put Ed off. But I just listened to an Immortality at the Adelaide show that Spenno recommended and the sublime Berlin'96 intro was followed by horrible clapping. Ughh!

(Also, this is like a GD spin-off thread, but with a valid point)

Those are the best types of spin off threads. Spun off yet legit.

Is that why Bonnaroo 08 was so good? So many people in the crowd were Kanye fans coming early?

A crowd full of Kanye fans coming early...now that would be messy.

Sorry, I'm really bored at work today, and now that the iPhone 4 has been unveiled my mind has no where else to go but gutter.

Listen to Bristow from this past tour. During the breakdown in Save You where Jeff's bass holds things down and Eddie goes into the clapping thing, they fucked it up. Eddie asked the crowd to get in sync and his clapping threw Jeff off. They botched the part.

Regarding the audience fucking up, there's a tiny delay from what comes off the stage and what lots of people in the back of the audience hear. When those people start clapping slightly late, its bound to fuck up any musician. And then there are just those who can't keep rhythm at all.

The crowd's clapping on In My Tree in Boston was perfect and made the song even better.
