This was surprisingly great. Not at all what I thought it would be, given the trailers and (bad) title. It's a Dreamworks production, so I expected to just sit there wishing I was watching something done by Pixar, but this actually was just as good as most Pixar movies. Sure the plot is pretty typical children's adventure movie stuff and you have your basic stock character types, but it never felt cliched. And the animation is fantastic, as is the use of 3D.

I wouldn't say as good as most pixar movies, it lacked the plot and heart but otherwise it was really good fun and i enjoyed every second of it. I agree that even though it had obvious cliches it never felt really cliched, and even though you sort of know whats going to happen it never feels predictable either.

Thinking of taking my little bro to go see this at the dollar movie, but it's only 2D. Worth it?

Yes.

Man, it has been at least a decade since we had any theaters showing movies for less than 8 bucks.

It's $1.75 I think. Still pretty awesome. Think I'm going to take him.

Very rarely can you take your child to a movie and enjoy it almost as much as they did.

Good flick.

Liked it a lot. The flying/action scenes reminded me at times of Panzer Dragoon and cut scenes from Final Fantasy. Definitely recommend.

When i clicked the thread summary button to determine if this thread is worth reading, i was looking forward to it. bart d. McP. Orph. Lenny. Paaks.

and all i get is a "yeah, this movie is pretty good"
"yep, i liked it"
"me too!"

thread?

this thread reads like a about a mediocre Pearl Jam B-Side in PJ Chat

ps. there is no such thing as a thread summary button.
but the should be

Assuming Skitch is not just batshit crazy or overindulging in psychotropics, this discovery could permanently alter the way I choose threads.

True or False: The title of this movie sounds like it could/should/will be the title of a porno.
