Now listening to your 2003 mix. Looking forward to the '08-'09 mix. How's it going?
It's on like donkey kong!
I am currently up to philly 4. I got some picks all ready to cut and edit. And it will 2008/2009 & 2010. The cut off will be this euro tour, unless there is a 20th show somewhere.

This thread is gonna be heating up soon. I am really getting through my picks now. I decided as I pick them I will get them ready to be edited. I went through some 2008 shows today. I think I found some strong pick to represent that tour well. I didn't go crazy. Once the 2010 euro tour is over. I hopefully will listen those quickly and be on to mixing and editing by the middle of july.

As I sit here at work, well, not working. I am going voer how to put this together setlist wise. I can tell you this, I will be going over old setlists through out there twenty year history to decide how to organize certain structures of the comp. You may even recognize some stretches. I can tell you this, there will be no "covers disc" or "slow disc" I do have a gimmick planned for one disc. I think it will be a cool one for fans.

Hey mate, have you made it up to Boston 2010 yet? Some damn fine versions there - especially 'Got Some' - absolutely blistering rendition (complete with correct lyrics for a change )

They completely nail Push Me, Pull Me too
Thanks for the info Ridley, not there yet. I am finishing up KC, Correct got some lyrics always helpful! On another note for the first time in 3 years. I put down my first 3 tracks for editing. It felt good to return to doing these massive projects. Hopefully this last one I am doing is the best one.

THis push me pull me from Boston sound interesting now that I got two folks calling for it. I just finished my top pics from 8/8/09 to 8/28/09, the stretch 9/21/09 to 10/1/09 is done. All of philly is done, All of the aussie tour is done, I will spend next week going over my 2008 picks. Hopefully over the 4th of july vacation I will get more tracks down. Once the euro tour is over. It's time to get down to serious business.
I decided to skip ahead some shows. I finished noblesville late last week and went to MSG II, maybe I'll work my way backwards, listening in order can get boring sometimes...

I don't know what it is, But I really like the song force of nature, it kinda of reminds me of the "it's ok tag by dead moon, especially the ending of the song, but let's face it, in 2009 they played this song awful. But 2010 has brought me two versions. And one I love!

Love Force of Nature. I think that riff must be a Stone riff that he has been trying to work into a song and so would throw into "It's OK". Unless it is similar to the original Dead Moon version. I don't know as I'm not familiar with the song.

Good afternoon all, I would just like to let you all know I have confirmed my pics from the 2008 & 2009, Pretty much I have must picks for almost each song and for a dozen or so I have two choices. I just have to finish the 2010 shows, as I do the 2010 shows, I will be putting down to edit the songs choices I already have. Last I check, this could be close to 200 tracks for 2008, 2009 and 2010. I am creating a monster....

I just made my first setlist up for a disc. I haven't done that is a LONG time. I think it came out very good. After sitting at work the last few days and killing time by listening to many of the rare tracks played these last three years and consulting with some board members. A rareties disc is not out of the question completely. Mostly because I think with my 2006 mix by making the covers only discs. I killed some momentum I could havehad on other discs where listening just got boring after a while. While the rarities disc is not 100%. I am gonna see how it works with everything else. I think by throwing some rareties in on random discs could kill the flow alot, who wants a rocking dics followed by the worst version of habit ever played. I may omit that track completely.
