Ok guys, I think a good idea to get people to come visit, post, mingle, and feel welcome in the E.H. Ruddock Food and Dining Forum is to have some sort of potluck.

I've taken the liberty of assigning everyone their foods.

Mecca can bring chicken wings.
Kam can bring the baked goods.
B can bring beer.
Chud can bring Wendy's.
Jorge can bring empanadas.

Would anyone else be willing to bring their specialty?

yes, but it has many declinations ie. with pepper, onions, bacon, etc. there's even a foie gras version in some Montreal restaurant...
btw, it tastes better than it looks.

Archibald brewery is pretty great - they have a nice IPA called La Ciboire.
other than that, there are plenty of them that aren't expensive. in fact, many of them are cheaper than Molson.
and you should give me a call when you come to quebec city :)
