I'm not sure how others feel about this but, would a Songs sub-forum be a worthwhile addition?

I was thinking that is could be set-up like the Tour sub-forum where new topics can't be added unless a mod makes one. That way there's only one Porch thread, only one Cropduster thread etc... Maybe even the SOTM threads could be renamed and used as a base.

This always seemed like a glaring forum omission to me. I was wondering how others feel.

I really expected this to be a request for a sub-forum for all the rank threads. I really did.

I honestly thought it would be a request for a "Pearl Jam & Food" sub-forum.

This could actually be a great idea. I wouldn't rename the SOTM threads, just leave them as they are, we've pretty much covered the whole catalogue with them now anyway.

at any rate, I'm not sure that this is necessary beyond subdividing things more than necessary. It's not like there are pages of new posts every day where you're going to miss something, and the SOTM threads are archived in a stickied thread.

Guys, stip is right. We don't need any more subforums.

In fact, I think tour and live are redundant.

Tour has done a good job when PJ is on tour. Now it's redundant of course, but I wouldn't scrap it.

Live... I'm not sure about it.

I feel like they could be one forum.

yeah, but wouldn't it be nice to just go to a specific song's thread when you've got something to say about it instead of starting a new thread.

I don't know if people do this now with SOTM threads? I've never gotten past the first page in one of those  .

This.

It'd be too organised and compartmentalised, y'know?

I don't like a complete and utter free-for-all like the Pit, but I think we've already got a good mix.

I think we could merge Live with Pearl Jam Chat too, Tour serves its own purpose.
