Here I am with the entire official bootleg series, the ability to compile & edit, but absolutely no time or patience when it comes down to listening to 500 versions of Even Flow. Quite frankly, I'm overwhelmed.

Why don't we all pool our experience and put together a sick compilation?

I'm sure there's a million threads about there about "best versions" of songs and so forth, but I thought I would start fresh.

I know there is a series called "Green Habit" but I'm not sure how much input the fans had in putting those sets together. I also question some (but certainly not all) of their choices when it comes to certain songs.

Here are the rules:

- Only shows with Matt Cameron on drums (1998-2010)
- 2005 is MP3 and therefore disqualified. (It sucks, I know. Blame Pearl Jam!)

You guys make suggestions about killer versions of songs, and I will listen to them and place them aside for further review. How does that sound?

Right off the bat, I'm looking for a killer version of "State Of Love And Trust" from 2000. There are 50+ versions from that tour so I'm at a loss.

Well, I wanted to keep it uniform in some way. Also, the Jack songs would require remastering in order to sit alongside the 2000+ songs.

Might be a good reference point though, even if it's to make a rule saying no versions included in his compilation.

Well in that case can we use 1998 matt shows or just keep it 2000+ official lossless recordings?

I think we should stick with 2000 forward.

I agree. I also like the no-Green Habit included versions rule, but hey it's your project.

Also, are we trying to get every song?

I had six or seven 2000 boots sitting nearby with State on them, I liked Katowice II the best.

Some more suggestions:

Do the Evolution - Kansas City '00
Oceans - West Palm Beach 1 '00 (well, this mightn't be the most flawless version, but I still really like it)
Improv/Habit - West Palm Beach 1 '00
Even Flow - Philly 1 '00
Tremor Christ - Philly 1 '00
Black - Chicago '00
