Does anyone else feel it's'a shame to cook it/use it as bacon?

I hate using it in recipes. I'd'much rather eat it as it comes. (Out of a packet for me).

that's how I eat it, cold/out of package. Or fresh sliced from the deli. It's so damn delicious with some fresh mozzarella, too.

This is how I tried it the first time. I didn't much care for it. Since then tho, I can't stop eating prosciutto stuffed peppers:

cherry peppers stuffed with a prosciutto wrapped chunk of provolone.
