I went to a portugese place once and they brought out a big stick of meat and sliced it right in front of you.

I've heard great things about Argentinian beef. Is it better than Brazilian beef?

I have no recollection of thinking Brazilian beef was anything extraordinary. Then again I only spent ten days in Brazil and they were a drunken haze.

I've heard great things about Australian Beef.

Seems like the most obvious option.

Depends on the cut. Different cattle produces different textures depending on the part of the body. The most valued cut in Brazil is the argentinian picanha (hump cover), but when it comes to filet, we stick to brazilian meat.
