Seriously, that was brutal. I just have to take solace in the fact that I'm going to be one of the few people seeing Soundgarden AND Arcade Fire this week

For srs. Until I got my Vic tickets I was resigned to the fact that I was going to choose Arcade Fire over Soundgarden because:
1. Strong belief that SG's tour will be announced shortly after Lolla 2. Who's going to be better outdoors at a festival in 2010? My vote goes for Arcade Fire 3. My friend using my 2nd ticket has little interest in Soundgarden
But it was a terrible choice to have to make. People had me doubting the forthcoming SG tour and assuring me Arcade Fire would add more dates.
None of this changes the fact that it would have made much more sense if it was Soundgarden vs. Lady Gaga, then you could have 2 pairings of "hipster cool" and "top 40 cool" the other two nights. Easy. And I would have bought a 3 day pass were this to be the case.

It's not that tough but Soundgarden and Arcade Fire are the top 2 of the headliners I wanted to see. I'm seeing Green Day later in the month and The Strokes at a festival...ok but nbd.
Arcade Fire FTW but it sucks they paired these the same night. I think they underestimate how big Arcade Fire is.
