i figured there should be one for all two of you fans out there (myself included).

I feel good about a repeat. they managed to keep Sharper, the division is a lock, and the Vikings will be defeated by Favre again. who's in the way? the cowgirls?

as long as Brees stays healthy...

I think they have the best chance of repeating of any of the recent SB teams, since very little has changed and the defense has even more time under Gregg Williams. Their secondary is ridiculous, Darren Sharper might not play and it might not make a difference. Considering some of the more popular SB picks have questions in their secondary (all the Ravens CBs are injured and the Jets might not have Revis) that's a pretty big deal.

yeah Gregg Williams has worked miracles with very little. their secondary was the joke of the league two years ago. i think with the way the NFL has handicapped defenses over the years, his strategy of attacking and causing turnovers (even if you give up a lot of points in the process) is the best way to play now.

I like the Saints, but I am an Indianapolis Colts fan first.

They do seem like a team that would get lazy after a Super Bowl win. That seems happens a lot in the NFL.

i feel like Brees is one of those robots like Manning or Tiger Woods who never lose the urge to win.

I agree with that, but he might have some trouble keeping his guys motivated. I think that's why Peyton Manning went with basically an unknown receiving corp so he wouldn't have to deal with egos and he molded those young guys quite well.

The Saints are everybody's homecoming. It's going to be tough, no matter who's coming back.

The only bad thing about winning the Super Bowl is that it's even tougher to repeat. For example, every team will treat their game with the Saints as their "measuring stick" game. It's so tough.

whats the over/under for how many times the announcers mention how the Saints saved the world from hurricanes, oil spills, 9/11, aliens, etc, or how much they masterbate to Favre? i hope they keep it to football tonight.
