There are a lot of childrens shows on TV today and most of them are out of this world and just plain creepy. Here is my top 5 worst on television. Feel free to comment or add any shows of your own.
5: Lazy Town
Okay, let me get this right. There's this town, Lazy Town. It's inhabited by about six or seven puppets and one guy who is half human/half puppet named Robbie Rotten who lives in an underground lair trying to cause trouble all the time. Enter Stephanie, a human, who comes to live with her uncle, a puppet. (Errr?) The hero of the show is an Icelandic superhero named Sportacus who floats over the town in a blimp and comes down whenever there is danger. Whenever Sportacus moves, horns herald each of his movements.
4: Caillou
Caillou is a whiny kid with no hair. None. Not even eyelashes! He goes around to his school or with his grandma or parents and whines about stuff until the adults basically just give in to his needs.
3: Yo Gabba Gabba
This import show can go back to the country from which it came from. I get that the bright colors keep kids attention, but its enough to make me feel like watching Barney is an Academy Award winning movie.
2: The Doodlebops
They're clowns. They're a band. They're Canadian. The two male band members are so flaming, they even creep Richard Simmons out. They play instruments while wearing those giant gloves, and I don't know how they do it.

I have never really gave Yo Gabba Gabba a chance. I understand they have musical guest and celebrities on the show from time to time. I just think it's a bit ate up.

You clearly haven't watched enough episodes of both shows to have a respectable opinion on the matter. That would be like me trying to start a thread about science. I don't know much about science because I don't study it, but the few times I've tried to study it, it just doesn't work for me. If you don't like the show don't post in the thread. There is no need to be cynical.

Yo Gabba Gabba is brilliant. My favorite is their song about how you shouldn't bite your friends.
WIKIPEDIA: On April 31, 2008 the television show received a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Costume Design/Styling. Although "Yo Gabba Gabba" was created as a show for young children, it has slowly become a sensation among college students and even some parents who are entertained by its retro/indie style, bright colors, simplicity, and entertaining music from many of the popular bands featured on the show.
What can I say? People like it.
