Who doesn't love getting a free t-shirt? They just brought a box of shirts from the 4th of July fireworks show this summer into the newsroom and people swarmed to them and they were gone in minutes. I grabbed two:

Is a t-shirt free if it comes 'free' with something you have to buy? Because if you have to buy the other item, the t-shirt isn't really free is it? Do these count, CHUD?

That's a tough one. I guess if you were planning on buying it for the same price without the tshirt it counts, but if the tshirt encouraged you to make the purchase then you just spent money for two things and technically bought the tshirt too.
