This sounds like a bad idea.

Yeah, change that no "if he doesn't cut his hair soon, i am done with this band" and you might have my sympathies.

But seriously, the Riot Act era was pretty great, I'd love some of that vibe to return. I wish I'd seen the band on that tour, though the Australian leg seems pretty underwhelming on the boots.

 totes

Except I really like the Australian leg of 03. I prefer the Japan shows overall, but I think I like the Aus leg more than the U.S. of 03.

That run of shows through April to early May in 2003 is pretty unbeatable in that year for me.

Some of those Aussie shows are still really good - Sydney II, Adelaide and Melbourne III in particular.

I know night 3 beyond the acoustic set is an overrated show but that run of Mansfield shows was the best concert experience of my life and I suspect it always will be.

yeah i really like those shows, i think state college, the garden shows, buffalo and shows like that are a bit overrated. My favourites of the u.s. shows are bonner springs and uniondale

its also that i think eddie's voice was in a lot better shape during the aus and japan shows

Overrated?

State College, the Garden shows: yeah.

Buffalo: no way!

I love Bonner Springs/Kansas City, that's a helluva show. Pretty much my dream setlist. Charlotte from the first leg is amazing too.

Anyway, I think we can all agree: early 2000's Pearl Jam >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> everything afterward.

Whatever happened to Sammy after that appearance? Seems like he disappeared.
