My sister is a cloth diaper evangelist, and we have partially converted with our baby (as in, we let him shit in a disposable and then put him in cloth for 3 or 4 in a row after that figuring our odds of avoiding another shitty one are good). But this is just too far out there. I don't think I want to know the woman who is not freaked out by this.

youre totally looking at this wrong.

there is no need to rinse these. just put them in a boiling pot of water and make it menstrual soup. shake it a few times like its a tea bag before leaving the pot. then, you not only cleaned it, but sterilized it too

I can't comprehend how you would take one of these out on a heavy day without a big mess. It doesn't look comfortable at all. And am I seriously supposed to walk out of a bathroom stall to the public sink and RINSE it out? UGH!

Even the pads. . . ew. I'm not saving a used pad in my purse. I can't even begin to imagine what that could smell like after a few hours. No matter how clean you are, old blood is old blood.
