I've been waiting for him to do a political talk show for a long time. I'd love to see him on Real Time or the Daily Show. Funny how he chooses to talk to the Crypt Keeper instead.
"Seattle, Washington, hello. Eddie Vedder joins us from the heavy metal band Nirvana..."

Eddie Vedder on Bill Maher would rock!

Back when he had politically incorrect, I put that on a comment card of my dream panel. I think I also told Bill Maher a few years ago when I met him. He wasn't/isn't a Pearl Jam fan so I doubt it's on his wish list. I mentioned to him I was in town for the EV show in L.A. and he didn't really care.

I have low expectations for this. Eddie is not that brilliant in real time. He has good instincts, and generally believes correct things, but his communicative strength is found in his empathy and his authenticity, which actually end up making it harder for him to talk about politics

I watch Larry King a couple times a week. I'll catch the rerun of this after work.
i'm pretty sure the interview will be readily available on the monkeywrenchrecords site... you know, while they ramp up to sell the concert dvd & cd as a fund raiser.
