This is meant to be set to music, that I haven't written yet... But maybe it can read as a poem to.

Kalevalic Winter War

Dawn of the day on winter fields
Valiant armies shall arrive
Sword in hand and pride in heart
On this day many will die

As snow falls on stone hard faces
They fight for hearth and land
Wolves howl and soil freezes
Yet steadfast are their hands

Bloods obscures pale white snow
White wolves marching on
Pent up blood and anger flow
Til' all sign of victory gone

May sorrow sweep the hearts
Of our wicked enemy
There is evil in their hearts
We shall drown them in the sea!

And should their come a day
When all past strong stand not
May we drown in the seas
A true end to our lot

Together we stand
Together we'll fall
Til' winter war claim us all
Then we'll stand in Hall On High
The fearless few who fell and died
Voimasta ja kunniasta (Of strength and honour)
