I finally saw this.
This was an awful, awful script by Peter Morgan. Bruce Joel Rubin (the writer of Ghost and Jacob's Ladder) had once said that writers have tried to enter the genre (supernatural thriller/drama) to just enter the genre and have failed miserably. What is so frustrating is that Morgan touches on some good details but places them clumsily in the bad script. Such a waste.
And Eastwood's direction honestly made me appreciate M. Night and Sixth Sense a hell of a lot more.
