die hard cubs fan. bleed cubbie blue (i should get that looked at)... but to say that today looked good. especially with patterson getting on, over to second, getting over to third, and in. good stuff!
the only thing i fear is that we spent all our offense this week. going to get like 2 hits over the next two days... (please no). still a long season...

I wouldn't take the bet either way. I'm once bitten twice shy after "just some soreness" for two months on both of them last year, but if they're not bullshitting this time we could be talking 60, because Wood is technically back and Prior is not far away.
Loast year, I definitely would have taken over and gotten burned. This year, I'm just going to stay away

nope, just wait until kerry wood's first start.
It's against Milwaukee on Friday in Wrigley. The weather's supposed to be great, so he won't have that to fall back on. I will be interested to see how he comes out of the gate, particularly with the limited spring training innings he threw.

I'll definitely take the over. Anyone care to place a wager?
ejections, zambrano, over/under 5.
Under, but barely.
He was calm the whole game up until the ump was squeezing the shit out of the plate.
You still don't tell the ump he needs glasses as you're walking off the mound. Getting squeezed is part of the game. He'll be squeezed again. Can you ever see Greg Maddux doing something like that?

Oh i defintely agree that he deserved to be ejected, but i think he will be calmer this year.
