i was editing a 8 camera shoot of a concert and then the hard drive starts speeding up and slowing down to a near stop every 5 seconds. so I transfer the 581 gigs of footage to another drive, its going to take 3 hours. so what's up on the internet?

1.5 hours.

8 HD cameras. when i go to prores for final edits it'll be over 1 terabyte.
