This band are too old for hipsters (except Platty) to ever like. Making a CDR is a huge waste of time.

I should also say that I used to think I knew what a hipster is, but then I read something that said Micheal Cera was the "poster boy for hipsters", so now I'm not so clear about it.
"Hipster" is kind of like "douchebag" only artsier.
Just burn a copy of Yield and include a copy of Pitchfork's 8.0 review. Your friend should be able to tell you exactly what he thinks of it before even hearing it.
