Are you at the point of delirium? I think I stayed up for nearly three days straight last year while filming/working and knew it was time to go to sleep when I could see imaginary horns protruding from my girlfriend's forehead.

No delirium. I actually worked out (nothing with weights though) from 9 to 11 that night, and I was more awake for most of the last 9 or 10 hours than I had been over the previous night.

at best I could have not went to the gym, but everything prior I sort of had to do. Stayed up all night to finish a paper, class 11-4, work 6-9. It was still dumb, but like democracy, the least dumb option.

Also, I did a similar, though more like 28-30 and not 39, thing last week. I got two nights worth of sleep on Friday day/night/Saturday morning which got me a little better I think.
