I've been brewing a lot of it lately but I've been too scared/broke to try it with loose leaf tea. I use about 4-5 bags of Twinings or Tazo and let them steep in about two cups boiling water for about 20 minutes. After making the concentrate, I'll add cold water to taste and it yields a pitcher of tea.

Anyone have some better recipes?

I've been brewing it in the sun. Sad to see the summer ending. :(

That better be a low boil and not a roaring boil, Reid.

Why do you say that, Peter? I'm always bringing it to a roaring boil.

Tea is meant to be brewed at a low boil.

That one is too strong for me. I drink it too fast and end up throwing up. I really like Joy, but it's seasonal and only available at Starbucks.

I really only use awake because my grandma is always passing off these ziploc bags full of tea and hotel coffee when I visit her.

I want to start using loose leaf tea, and so I thought of RM. This thread really isn't about Tazo.

your brazenness towards tea brewing is exactly the inspiration lenny could use at this confusing juncture in his life. i encourage you to PM him.
