Can someone change the subject to the Jon Stewart rally?

I would love to go to this. Who's in?

I will be attending this rally. Sounds like a good place to find slutty "progressive" chicks.

If I wasn't already scheduled to work that day, I'd be there. I'm hoping they televise it, or offer some DVD goodness. It's going to be GOLDEN - and I will be THRILLED if it draws more people than the Beck rally. lol.

you can also donate money for the national mall if you don't go to the rally.

I think I will. Did any of the other recent rallies offer this?

True story: You're allowed to donate money to the national mall or Reid, regardless of whether there is a rally held.

Smartass. I was wondering if any of the other rally holders took the time to request donations like Jon did last night.

All kidding aside, I actually am going and looking forward to this. I just really hope that Stewart and his guests keep it polemic free and on topic. Basing the tea-hadists or palinites or even Fox News would compromise the spirit of the rally. It's not the different viewpoints that are the issue, it's immature, ignorant, and childish manner in which or politicians treat us and each other that are the problem. It's the old "us" versus "them" argument that we need to address to move forward as a nation.

Either that or make it some kind of Kaufman type joke on everyone there.

I only caught the last hour, but that was the best moment I saw. The rest seemed a little too goofy/awkward.
