01) Little Fury-Random Bliss matched with with tight snares and decieit melody

02) London Song-Epic California/Jersey Shore guitars and breezy class rock

03) Off You-slow, lathargic, a future mess full of drama

04) The she- a controlled hectic enviornment, this reminds me of the future if anything would serve as a reminder of things to come. drum and bass are killer in this song, and the sudo "guitar solo" is produced really well.

05) Too Alive- "Last Splash" reminders in this song, fantastic voical duet from the Deal sisters.

06) Son of Three- Shakin' ass bass and drum, pretty basic rythem, old tyme feeling...

07) Put on a Side- bass heavy inro with Pink Floyd type delivery (in a pop sense) evolves into.....thats it

08 ) Evil on Idle) bust into hillbilly out of nowhere. A nice change of pace. You want it to go insane, but it never happens, because teh Breeders know what they're doing.

09)Sinister Foxy-Yeaaaaaaaaa, this shit right here makes you want to transend back to 1987 with the knowledge you now know (circa 2002)...This song makes you wish things could have been different. This song defines my love for The Breederes, so random, so there, so in the moment......you can only catch it if you really are there to accept it.

10_ Forced to Drive: another "Last Splash" era song, in that it is sweet (emphisis on sweet) and then it turns into a mosh posh of a 5th grade sounding instrumental (but done well)....great song

11_ T and T: awefully good melody, makes me wish I came up with this (perhaps Brian Wilson for that matter)...good stuff right here.

12_ Huffer: CLASSIC Breeeders...can't get enough of this song.

As you can tell, I love this band....I hope if you would never have listened to this band before to give this album a shot along with the commentaty I have to offer....Let me know what yoiu think on first immpression, or let me know what you think after 47th immpression.

Its my favourite Breeders album...love the production which is so different from their previous work. Apparently Kim Deal played the drums on The She.

Waxy, I love you for this thread. Painfully underrated and overlooked band AND album. I haven't listened to Title TK or Last Splash in a while, but I listened to Pod a few weeks ago and, as is to be expected, it kicked my ass.

I pretty much forgot how awesome Pod is.

(Hilariously ill-fitting slideshow someone put together for a song about a blowjob.)
