That's not even remotely what I was interested in in middle school, but I agree with the sentiment. A friend and I did form a Mark Twain Society in fifth grade, though we didn't get past naming it.

Yeah, that's probably what I would have named it too.
I vaguely remember my friend Ajay (the true founder of the society) assigning A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court for me to read after we picked a name, but nothing else. I never read that book.

Yeah, I never read that book either. I think it has a terrible title.
