Some say it's a bitch. Some say it's a boomerang. Some say it's instant. Some say it's gonna bite you in the ass.

What is it?

Saying there's some cosmic system of justice that rewards the good with more good is about as rational as the tarot or astrology.

I'll post my thoughts later, because I just got super busy doing what I do.

Its easy to live in your boxed little life impervious to your surroundings /community /environment but in reality and bigger picture you are fucking everyone else. Where is my Wise Monkey pic? For you to think your actions do not effect the lives of others is bullshit. You are in denial. You are selfish. You are heartless. You're incoherent to beat of the globe.

yup. I like to look at practical karma as a strong of events that may or may not happen, though. I like doing good deeds for people. If for any reason, because it is the right thing to do. My hidden hope is that one good deed makes that person want to do a good deed and that carries on, but most people are selfish, so I don't think its very likely. In the end, at least you're one of the people doing something good, not for any reward aside from the fact that you helped someone out.

It's more common sense than cosmic, IMO. If you are a good person and refrain from being a dick to the people around you, you're going to get more of the benefit of the doubt and see more good things come your way, and vice versa. I know this is an awfully reductive version of the concept but it's definitely been true in my life.

If you believe in it, it applies to you. I've experimented with this doing good and bad things and found out that it really only does apply if you personally believe it to exist.

Nice guys finish last and some cunts get away with murder(figuratively speaking).

Live right and be happy. have as much fun as possible as often as possible. all will be well.

I didn't see anyone saying that. Thats more of a morality question than believing in karma.
