So I finally got around to creating artwork for this Vault Release. There are a few different versions, depending on how you want to burn this one to CD (whole show incl. 'My Way' fits on an 800mb 90min CD-R if you can get ahold of one).

I also thought I'd share my 'upscaled to FLAC' files for burning to CD, as doing so from mp3 can be a bit of a headache (gaps between tracks etc). I also took the opportunity to edit the track split positions (some were a bit odd on the original Vault release) and separate the 'Jazz Odyssey' intro from 'Ain't Nothing To Do'. There's also a fade-out version of 'Porch' and fade-in version of 'Swallow My Pride' for those who want to put the Green River encore on a seperate disc (as both won't fit on an 80min CD-R).

Cheers

Wasn't this only officially released as mp3? Converting mp3s to FLAC is strongly discouraged.

Yeah, then when some bonehead transfers them back to mp3 they're doubly fucked.

My recommendation for this would be to take the tracks from the Christmas single, the audience recording and the official mp3 release and matrix the three. That would be pretty cool.

Upscaling straight from mp3 to FLAC isn't the greatest idea.

Can someone explain this matrix process?

Making FLAC from MP3 is a BIG no-no. If it's MP3 it should stay that way.

Alright, point taken - links have been removed to stop the spread of these non-lossless FLACs.

If anyone wants access to the FLACs for the sole purpose of burning a hardcopy for themselves, send me a PM.

I appreciate that you're trying to make a CD burnable version, but don't most burning programs burn MP3's? Granted, you'll have gaps between tracks, but that's a penalty of something being MP3-only. I have done wav versions of some mp3 shows in order to remove the gaps, but I always keep them to myself as to not spread them as lossless.

I can burn mp3s without gaps.
