I love these things, I have been collecting signed mini helmets for 3 yrs now. Just this weekend I went to an autograph show and got Julius Jones to sign a mini Notre Dame helmet for me. I was supposed to meet Marc Bulger and get one from him but he flaked out and cancelled his appearence. my dad and I wound up spending the refund on a Steven Jackson rams mini and a Bryce Fisher rams mini. And against my wishes the old man bought a Bulger signed mini too. So here is our collection so far:

Bulger
Kurt Warner mini rams and a SB 34 mini which he signed SB34 MVP
Marshall Faulk
Rickey Prohell
Eric Dickerson
Tom Mack
Jack youngblood
Jackie Slater
Torry Holt
Ike Bruce
Steven Jackson
Grant Wistrom

Im trying real hard to find a Jerome Bettis RAMS mini, but i can only find steelers as of yet

I had all 28 teams when i was a kid(mini helmets). I would go to Grand Union everyday and try to get the ones that i didn't have. I even had some old-school ones like the Bengals(no stripes, just said Bengals on the helmet), Falcons(when the helmet was red), Patriots(that dude hiking the football). They were so cool. Then i got older and spilled a whole bottle of vodka on them and ruined them all and threw them out. Stupid vodka.

yes these along with the mlb mini helmets were the only thing i would get out of those machines (usually leaving the grocery store with my mother). I also had several "medium baseball helmets", a place around me served ice cream in them. I remember putting a yankee helmet under the tire of my dads car after eating there one time.

I remember when I was a kid, back in Illinois, Baskin Robbins doing that. I have a Vikings helmet somewhere and I'm pretty sure that they used baseball ones as well.

Oh yeah Clubber, those are the real mini helmets. I used to put the facemask on backwards all the time. I dont know if they still makes those little helmets in the 50 cent machines anymore, but I have started to collect the mini mugs now. I have about 15-20 of them.

I think i have all of the NFL mini helmets from the gumball machines except for the seahawks, texans, and broncons. (I gave the Broncos one to my brother). I am not exactly sure were they are, but i know i have them. I also have all 30 MLB mini helmets. I bought them in one big package when i was at Coors field. I also have about 10 of the medium helmets. And about 10 of the regular sized ones. Most of the regular sized ones are old school, including orange astros, the old orioles, and a couple others.

A few years ago, I got all but 4 of the NFL ones. Collecting them is fun until you realize you've dropped 5 bucks on 10 Bengals helmets.
