1. Beef – It’s been an up-and-down week for this poster. The recipient of a geyser of vitriol from Number Four on this week’s Rankings, Beef took the bait and ran with it. The fracas sent waves through General Discussion but have since subsided. On the flip side, Beef is Dev’s favorite poster.
2. rafa_garcia18 – This poster’s “suppose you meet the queen of England . . .” thread has remained more or less on topic for an astounding 6 pages. Can it continue? His successful “The official daily status of GD thread” suggests that it just might.
3. Doug RR – The bump of “Doug RR and the City” highlights this poster’s consistency. A month removed from this thread’s six-year anniversary, we can take stock of Doug’s steadiness amidst Balki’s bunting and jayscott_’s nudie books and applaud him for being one of the remaining members of RM’s senior crew.
4. Beef_go_sukk_a_dicc – The appearance of second accounts has become increasingly rare. That didn’t stop this poster from surfacing and causing a stir with Number One.
5. E.H. Ruddock – This poster located an photograph on an internet dating Web site uncannily resembling Red Mosquito’s own cutuphalfdead. An uncomfortable subtext bubbled beneath the surface of the thread, never quite erupting. But there is still time.
6. Thodoks – A rare thread deletion occurred to this poster. He harnessed simmering anti-Kosmicjelli sentiment in crafting a thread detailing said poster’s hypothetical hobo-sign aphorisms. But was it a bridge too far?
7. Pizza the Hut – “drop seat butt flap”
8. i got bugs – Parchy’s oblique assault of this poster’s integrity caused a temporary spike in popularity outside of his normal haunt, Other Bands.
9. B – This moderator brought some shocking posts to the Food and Dining Forum in the “Halloween Pie and Thanksgiving Cake” thread. The limits of the F&D Forum are being tested.
10. Theplatypus – His “The First Annual RM Threads Tournament” seemed poised to launch a fervent discussion regarding the relative merits of RM threads of the past and present. Toward the end of the thread, a brief but well-informed conversation occurred, seeming to signal serious momentum. But the moment faded and the thread sunk to Page Two of General Discussion. Can the interest be rekindled?
