just a note from the royals fan of the board.we've got this Pitcher Runelvys (Elvys) Hernandez, who has not pitched since August 16th 2003,anyway he started against the Tigers(who look awesome this year)today and he pitched 7 innings and he gave up one run in the R's 7-2 win, this guy in April of 03 had a 1.60 ERA with a 4-0 record, and if he's fully recovered from tommy john surgery he might put up AS numbers.

Well, all star numbers for the royals isn't anything special, so you might be right. Remember, Ken Harvey was their rep last year.. :|

The Royals will turn heads? Are you out of your mind? How exactly did they improve this offseason? Every other team in the AL Central improved greatly, the Royals would be worse just by standing still.

Lots of interesting prospects...but come on now, they're a 4-A team.

now by turning heads i dont mean they'll have a winning record,i hope they do,but i realize they wont.but what i meant is everybody picks us 29th or 30th in the Bigs, but i think we can win 75 games, and are players should put up good solid numbers..that people wont expect.all of this really doesnt matter to me i love the Royals win or lose,i just really enjoy analyzing them.

and yes Harvey sucks, which is why he's in AAA and Calvin Pickering(whom if tony pena would play he'd hit 35 homers)is in the bigs.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that KC is the worst team in baseball. Ok, it's not really going out on a limb.

OF:
David DeJesus
Terrence Long
Matt Stairs/Emil Brown/Eli Marrero

IF:
Mike Sweeney
Ruben Gotay/Tony Graffanino
Angel Berroa
Chris Truby/Mark Teahan
John Buck

P:
Jose Lima
Brian Anderson
Zach Grienke
Runelvys Hernandez..

My god are they bad. There's maybe 6 players on the whole roster that are major leaguers.
