who would you pick??

i gotta go with Ben Gordon. he's a big reason the Bulls are the 4th seed in the East. he started off the year slow but after he and Jordan started doing private workouts he really got off the ground.

2nd place to Emeka. i like him. he's a blue collar dude. works hard.

but the best player to come out of the draft will end up being ANDRE IGUODALA. he is going to be the best defensive player of the Lebron era. So far in his rookie season he's completely shut down Kobe, Lebron (2x this year), Paul Pierce, Vince, the list goes on. it's impossible to score on this guy...plus he's the best dunker in the NBA.

Ben Gordon definitely deserves it. I think the number of games where he's scored double digits in the 4th quarter is 15 or 16. That's what I call putting your team on your back. He's had a lot to do with the Bulls' turnaround.

i stand by my statement!!!!!!

if Lebrons gonna average a triple double with like 25 10 and 10....why cant Iguodala get 10 10 and 10? anythings possible. the guy is a freak of nature. in 3 or 4 years he'll be touching the ball on every offensive play.

Gordon deserves ROY and looks like a Ray Allen type player (I think he will be even better).

Lebron looks like he will probably average a triple double or very close to it in the next couple of years.

Iguodala is going to be a star. He's a decent shooter, unselfish, can drive and finish with both hands, and maybe the most athletic player in the league. I haven't seen someone get up like him since a young Vince Carter.

He doesn't play close enough to the basket to average 10 boards and will never handle the ball enough to get to 10 assists. I've read alot of stuff on him this season and he says that he wants to develop a consistent jump shot like Kyle Korver. If he can become a good jumpshooter he will be unstoppable. As far as defense, he might be the best defender in the league right now.

I think he will likely become a 20-9-6 player, and potentially could end up one of the top scorers in the league.

I've got to go with Ben Gordon, like many other people here. I just think he's done a spectacular job.

at the start of the year i thought Jim OBrien was nuts for starting Iguodala over Glenn Robinson but WOW. to witness what Iguodala did to Kobe, Lebron and all of them was pretty jaw dropping.

i dont see him ever getting more than 20 a game (unless he seriously works on his jumpshot), but i agree with everyone else. he's going to rule the NBA in defense for years to come.

I have to go with Emeka on this one. He is putting up solid numbers and he's doing it with ZERO talet around him. He doesnt bitch, he just goes out there and does his job.

i never make assumptions on rookies, i always wait to see in their 2nd or 3rd season to see how they are going to be. lebron is a rare case, i think its safe to say hes going to be very solid and avg these numbers if not a little better.

teams never have enough tape on rookies and how they play man to man, how they react in a certain situation.
