pretty cool idea. The world could use a LOT less tv. but you're right. someone is going to get killed because of this .
I've got one of those things and man, is it fun. One time I was home watching tv w/my mom and she kept changing the channel to QVC. Everytime she did, I would turn the tv off with the tv-b-gone. She had no idea what was going on till I started laughing.
Then one time I was at a bar with some friend and the bartender was watching a game. Every 5 minutes, I would turn off the tv. The first couple times, I did it when he wasn't looking, and he would think the waitresses turned it off. Then I started doing it while he was watching it and he started to think that the tv was overheating. I was able to keep a straight face, so I doubt he ever figured it out.
