Dr. Dre is easily one of the greatest rappers of all time and I'm really looking forward to his new album. His first single is "Kush" and it features Snoop and Akon and it's about smoking weed. Classic.

Welp, Dre just lost cred on my street with that Kush song. I thought he would be better than that to feature someone who uses those shitty voicebox things to sing.

yeah, akon is unnecessary. apparently, this song wasn't even supposed to be on the album. it leaked and dre was initially unhappy about it. but it got a lot of radio play and the internet seemed to approve of it, so it's going to be on detox's tracklist.

Dre is a pioneer of sorts, but I'd hardly call him one of the greatest rappers of all-time. A lot of rappers have better flows, and I don't care how good you are--averaging roughly one decent-to-good album per decade isn't enough to get you into the canon of greats.

That said, he's usually good for a few stellar tracks.
