there has been a lot of talk in the beer thread about Seasonals, and Small Batch, and all that stuff. But Sometimes that stuff isn't available to buy. So if you're on the way to an old college buddies impromptu party, or the liquor store is closed and you have to go to CVS, or the tailgating area doesnt allow glass... what beer is your go-to, mass produced, readily available beer? For the purposes of this discussion, i would even leave out Sam Adams beyond the basics. Basically anything higher end than Corona/Leinie/Sam doesnt belong in this discussion.

For me, it is, and always has been Molson Canadian. The poll is kinda vague because of the number of options. so if you drink Busch, or natty pick "cheap bud" or the beast hit cheap miller, and so on. Then just elaborate in the thread part, and i reserve the right to totally dismiss "dogfish head 90 IPA because i dont drink any of this stuff" as a valid answer. Even Doug RR has to buy his beer at Rite Aid from time to time.

I guess Sam Light. It doesn't really taste that light and doesn't give me a headache the way Boston Lager does.

Dos Equis, Shiner Bock, or Newcastle. Are the last two too "good"?

I think those are fine, although they are right on the border.

Yeah I figured, if you want to avoid those you have to remove the last four or so poll options.

I voted Corona because, with lime, it can be a great beach beer. But if Yuengling, Killians, and Newcastle are included, then those three as well. Coors Light would be the best of the really shitty.
