I will not go see this, or the first one.

Has Ice Cube been in a decent movie besides Boyz N The Hood? Don't say Friday either, that movie sucked and the sequel sucked even worse (didn't see the third one).

I liked Friday, and I hear, from people whose opinions I trust, that Barbershop was pretty good, and I thought Trespass was alright.

Oh yeah, Three Kings is a fantastic movie, and Ice Cube was excellent in it.

In terms of a movie, it sucked.
In terms of entertainment, it wasn't bad.

i don't really think i'll be seeing it again anytime soon though.

I hated Three Kings, but I like director David Russell's other films (Flirting With Disaster, I Heart Huckabees). Barbershop and it's sequel looked terrible (three words: Cedric the Entertainer).

Speaking of Three Kings, a guy who graduated from my school (Michlo Manchevski) was set to direct the movie, but he ended up changing his mind after the studio was uptight about his casting decisions. He directed Dust and Before the Rain (two films I haven't seen). He gave a lecture at my school this week but my lazy ass did not attend.

This was one of those movies you pretty much knew was going to be crap. Vin Diesel didn't help it any. I mean, did you see the previews for The Pacifier and think, "Ooo, that looks damn good!"? God, I hope not.
