How is there no thread for this site? I'm so depressed that I've only just now been made aware of its existence.

http://www.daytrotter.com/al/artists/alphabetical.html

I've downloaded Brad, Dinosaur Jr., Old 97s, Cage the Elephant, Death Cab for Cutie, Frightened Rabit, Meat Puppets, and Vampire Weekend.

Just was on there myself. Got Cold War Kids, Fleet Foxes, Freelance Whales, & Grizzly Bear. I'm only up to "G" on the alphabetical list, so I'm sure I'll find more.

Thanks again for bringing attention to this, B.

I don't see how if you like music you could not know about this site. Another similar one is hearya.com. I actually like hearya better because the free downloads are high bitrate.

As for Daytrotter I defiantly recommend checking out Josh Ritter and Joe Pug.

Lol. I like music but didn't know about this site until last week. So, it is possible.

Based in my backyard, Rock Island IL. Wish they picked better bands. For every one that is good there are 3 or 4 throwaways

There is a new MGMT session up on the site if anyone is interested. The set was:

Song for Dan Treacy
It's Working
I Found a Whistle
Only a Shadow
