For the last hour, off and on, they've been playing highlights from past Sabres games on the radio. I don't think I've ever been more depressed. Those highlights featuring Rick Jeannerett put a lump in my throat. There is no better hockey play-by-play man than Jeannerett, and the fact that there was no NHL this season really hit me today like no other thus far.

Moving to Seattle detached me from hockey because no one gives a shit about it here. 2 years of that, then the lockout, Steve Yzerman's retirement...it's going to be hard to get me to care again.
