Can these concerts even happened with recent flooding in brisbane?
Shit, good point mate - it's right on the the riverbank, most definitely flooded by now
Unbelievable what's happening to our northern compatriots at the moment, an area the size of France and Germany combined is flooded in Southern/Central Queensland, and now the Brisbane River is peaking at about 5m above normal levels...

Just a little bit of rain up here.... 720mm since start of month and about 350mm in 30 hours.... Had to ride through flooded creeks on the back of a big truck just to get home. Least my house is high and dry.
Shouldn't be any worries unless we get more rain. CBD should be back up and running tomorrow - well for the beginning of the clean up anyway.
Record rainfall for Jan is 1249mm back in 74 so well short of that so far. River peaked at under 5m so well below 74. Be a bigger disaster due to population of South east Queensland now is all.
The size of it is amazing. Rockhampton to the border and about 7 hours drive west is all flooded or recovering from floods.

Worst thing for us at moment as you can't even get a loaf of bread here. Food is going to get very expensive with so much agriculture wiped out and a lot of the wholesalers in Rocklea and they have about 3 meters of water through there.
Might be a baked beans diet for a while

See you all there around this time tomorrow yeah? I'll be the guy with the PJ20 shirt and PJ20 beanie/hat and in jeans, I'm a bit afraid to put my mobile number on the board, so I won't. lol. Feel free to say g'day if you find me - though I'm sure I won't be the only one wearing the above. See you's at the show
