im surprised there is no thread for this? i searched and came up blank. shrugs. if not... MERGE!
really really freaked me out. the whole thing is unsettling. doesn't help them im claustrophobic. i was a little iffy about an entire movie basically taking place in a coffin, but i got over that really quickly.
It literally did just stay INSIDE the coffin for 100% of the film. I thought for sure via either some flashbacks or showing you the other side to a couple of the calls back to the states that they'd use those moments to widen the scope just a tad, ease up on the claustrophobia to have it come to you in some sort of waves, but nope this director really went for it, there's not a single frame of film that I can recall that was in any way outside of the coffin.

I just watched this one and it is definitely very impressive that they were able to pull it off. It's very tense throughout and I thought that it was a very good movie overall.
It's one of those movies where it's so difficult and scary for 90 minutes that you almost wish that it had had a happy ending, instead of him dying. But they gave us a taste of that when Conroy dreamed of being rescued and i guess it wouldn't have been all that satisfying of an ending.

I guys with learning difficulties to the cinema and generally they choose either horror or kids films. When we watched this he was like sooo bored and I was like wow this is really interesting.
The strange thing was that the time I went with him before that he chose a film entirely set in a lift.
