Basically you take the ending of Spielberg's Catch Me If You Can, then make a TV series about it. Neal Caffrey's a master con man/forger/thief and gets caught, goes to work consulting for the FBI. And the acting of the FBI lead guy is much better in the episodes than what seemed represented in that old trailer. Actually you may recall him from the Seinfeld episode where he was the Bizarro world version of Jerry that Elaine was dating. Anyway I loves me some shows/movies about heists, capers and con men (I also created the thread on here for the BBC's "Hustle"), but even though this is in the midst of season 2 I only just got around to finally start watching this weekend, crammed all of season 1. They do a pretty good balance of having cool self contained stories in each episode but also continuing with an elaborate overall story arc. I believe it just returned from its winter hiatus for the remainder of season 2.
And btw on a side note, when EW magazine did an online poll a couple months back of who fans would prefer to get the title role in Zack Snyder's Superman reboot, the guy from this show, Matthew Bomer, got enough votes for about 5% I think it was. And I would say he's got a decent clean cut Clarke Kent look to him.

c'mon guys seriously? Is nobody else out there still not watching this? Yea it ain't groundbreaking, but it's better than most of the shit that's out there. actually Eliza Dushku just guest starred on last night's episode. And the regular cast has expanded a bit this year, including for you LOST fans, the hot British chick who played Naomi, she plays a lesbian and is one of the main feds, though has to put on an American accent for the role.
