I personally like his dead-pan sarcastic humor. I'll take it before the over the top and obnoxious Will Ferrell's of the business

Hey! I have a sense of humour and I'm not impressed by pretty boys. I also don't think americans can pull off dry humour on the screen. :-)

"David, what do you suggest we play?"

"I don't care, anything. I would rather watch Beautician and the Beast. I would rather listen to Fran Drescher for 8 hours, than have to listen to Michael McDonald. Nothing against him, but if I hear Ya Mo Be There one more time, I'm going to ya mo burn this place to the ground."

It's not even comedy, skitch. It's disguised as comedy.. Realistically, it's just shit.

:-)

He's a really boring actor! He's not witty, the movies he chooses are awful, they're not clever, they're not funny, nothing.

I can get "I Love You, Man" not being a comedy women would get. It is definitely a portrayal of male friendships, etc. I enjoyed Anchorman as well.
I generally find him to be the best part of "so-so" comedies- Knocked Up, 40 Year Old Virgin, Role Models, Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

This is probably why I find him boring. He's like the male verion of a chick flick actor.

Who's that woman that did Me, Myself And Irene... Mediocre comedy.
